Paddling in the Danish Crown
Last day our team gathered for the first time and had a fantastic opportunity to surf around Copenhagen.
Our local guide Emma took us to the best spots for paddling in the area, which is also open for paracanoeists, both tourists and high-performance ones. They are available for all who want to develop their skills in canoeing. Above you will find a few pictures from the best (in Emma opinion that I take as mine) club in Copenhagen.
The main point of the day was a visit to the 2021 ICF Paracanoe World Championships. Fascinating races, a lot of viewers, and top athletes with Paralympics medalists made its event outstanding.
The organisers of the WCh create one more attraction that can disappear in the rush of impressions. It was an exhibition of the canoes floating in the crowns of the trees. I think it expresses the idea of our project and is directly related to its name, “FREEDOM ON WATER”.
From my point of view, those floating in the air canoes are metaphors of freedom for all involved in this beautiful sport and want to choose their course to the next challenge.
Because For Us The Sky Isn’t The Limit.
